Hello Animals

Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 August 2026

These terms cover the Hello Animals iPhone app and this website. Installing or using the app means you accept them.

1. Who may use the app

The app is designed for children aged 1 to 3 and is meant to be handed to a child by an adult. If you are a parent or guardian, you are responsible for supervising your child’s use and for any purchase made on your device.

2. Personal and family use

You may use Hello Animals on the devices tied to your Apple Account, for personal and family use. You may not resell it, rent it, redistribute it, or use its photographs, sounds or recordings outside the app — including in other apps, videos or teaching materials.

3. The purchase

A large part of the collection is free. The rest is opened by a single optional purchase that unlocks everything permanently on your Apple Account.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, under Apple’s policies. Requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Use of the app is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms and that agreement disagree, the Apple agreement governs the licence to use the app.

4. Content of the app

The photographs, sounds, spoken names, illustrations, name and design of Hello Animals belong to us or are used with the rights required to ship them. The catalogue may change between app versions: animals can be added, replaced or retired. A purchase always unlocks the complete collection of the version you have installed.

5. Availability and changes

The app runs offline and does not depend on our servers to work. We may release updates that change or remove features, and we may stop distributing the app. Purchases already made keep working in the version installed on your device.

6. No warranty and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that it will be free of errors or that any specific animal, sound or feature will remain available.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

7. Privacy

How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the updated terms.
